Leaving Italy in late December was not difficult. As much as I adored experiencing the Festive Season in northern Italy, Lyon and Bulgaria, with the cozy Christmas markets, mulled wine and streets lined with Christmas lights, the cold was really getting to me!
Part of my job at the University, was to give a lecture on options for law students and lawyers in Italy, for moving to Australia. Australia is somewhere that Italians view as paradise.
After spending some hours researching for my lectures, I began to agree with them, and was delighted to touch down in sunny, hot Perth, after leaving my lovely Milan with its maximum of 1 degree.
As I prepare to head back to Europe soon, I am relishing every single moment of Australian sunshine, fresh air, and white sand and sunsets!
