Well, I am flying to Munchen tonight, and have an ambitious plan to travel with only a 30L carry on sized Kathmandu Hybrid backpack with wheels so as to remain mobile while hopping around Europe on trains and planes: http://www.kathmandu.com.au/packs-and-bags/hybrids/hybrid-trolley-30l-black-1.html
My packing inventory is as follows:
4 x dresses (2 x white, 1 x black, 1 x striped)
3 x tee shirts (1 x grey, 1 x striped, 1 x black city sparkles top)
2 x going out tops (2 x black halter)
1 x sports tights (1 x Vie Active black leopard)
1 x sports shorts (1 x black Lululemon)
1 x purple Lululemon dancer’s hoodie
1 x cropped denim jacket
1 x navy blazer
1 x jeans
1 x white converse sneakers
1 x black ankle boots
1 x black Havianas
1 x nude sandal wedges
2 x sports crops
2 x black singlets
3 x scarves
Sony NEX 6 mirrorless camera
ASUS T100 transformer book
I’ve used the Kathmandu packing cubes, which are impressive! With rolling, I have fitted all of the above into 4 small cubes, and one small compression bag.
I’ve also prepared for inevitable overflow with medium and small sized Longchamp Le Pliage folding shopping totes.
I know that the best laid plans go awry or something like that, so I’ll let you know how I go with my light travelling plans.
With love, from Josephine.
